Originally from mainland France, I sailed across the ocean more than 25 years ago to settle in French Polynesia. That voyage was a turning point — the beginning of a life dedicated to the sea and the islands.

 

For 25 years, I taught history and geography, including 9 years in the Marquesas Islands on Hiva Oa, where I had the privilege of living in close connection with a unique island culture. As both sailor and passionate diver, my bond with the ocean is intimate and vital.

 

Today, I dedicate myself fully to photography. Through my images, I strive to reveal the beauty and fragility of Polynesian ecosystems, as well as the human and cultural stories intertwined with them. Each photograph is a narrative, a trace, an invitation to see — and to protect.
